With summer only a hop, skip and a jump away, wedding fair season is officially back. For all you lovely brides out there, be sure to put the 3rd Annual Valley Wedding Fair on your list of must-do’s. Just a short 21 minute drive from the Best Western Country Meadows in Aldergrove, BC, this event will inspire you with ideas for the wedding of your dreams.

Over thirty vendors will be at this Abbotsford, BC fair to discuss your wedding needs and help you come up with fantastic ways to add some oomph to your big day. There is no end to what you’ll discover at this event: find your perfect wedding dress, get advice from seasoned wedding planners, listen to a sample wedding playlist from experienced DJs, interview different photographers on their skills and even choose the wines for your reception. The fair takes place at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Abbotsford, BC on February 20, 2011 from 12-4pm. Admission is free and tons of door prizes are available. The Wedding Fair is produced by Valley Wedding Solutions, a local company serving Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Mission.

Mark your calendars- Sunday, February 21st, 2011 is when the hilarious comedians Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall will be cruising into town to make your belly hurt with laughter. The duo will be joined by special guest Reno Collier, who has joined both Larry and Bill before on other comedy tours.

Larry the Cable Guy was part of the highly successful Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Bill Engvall. Larry has been part of the Forbes Celebrity Top 100 list two years in a row and also received the 2006 Billboard Top Comedy Tour Award. While his catchphrase “Git-R-Done” is pretty famous, many people may also recognize his voice as that of Mater from the Disney hit movie Cars.

Bill Engvall is one of comedy’s greats and he is also a platinum recording artist. He has been the star of his own television sitcom, “The Bill Engvall Show,” written several books and starred in numerous Comedy Central specials.

Take the kids on a safari sleepover on December 31st!
